Create It
- Open the configuration and confirm A4, Horizontal, Millimeters and All margins 12.
- Set Grid spacing 10 and Major line every (0 = off) 0. Under Line appearance, check Line width 0.2 and Pattern color #8aaccb.
- Inspect the wide blank grid, then choose Download SVG or Print / Save as PDF at 100%.
- On paper, write a scale such as one square = 0.5 m before sketching the room.

How to Use the Printed Page
At that chosen scale, a 4 m wall uses eight squares and a 2 m object four squares. Mark doors and opening clearance. Label uncertain measurements. Independently verify dimensions before buying materials or cutting anything.
Check the Result
The source should be 297 × 210 mm. Five intervals should span 50 mm on a real print. Confirm your handwritten scale and labels agree; the grid cannot check room measurements.
